Advancements of AI acknowledges alternative definitions of intelligence to human intelligence. Machines are discovering alternative ways to be intelligent increasing complementarity between human and artificial intelligence. SAHAAI is envisioned as an interdisciplinary program to push the boundaries of a human-centered computing.

The goal of this program is to collaboratively explore “the digital” as a feature of the human, and to examine historical and contemporary enfolding of technology and society. As a rapidly growing interdisciplinary field of study, social applications of AI technologies covers a broad range of scholarship including smart computing, IoT, deep learning, Anthropology of technology and a range of the social sciences engaged in technology studies.
