Kohli Center on Intelligent Systems

Overview

In line with the core visions of the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), the Kohli Centre on intelligent systems (KCIS) was established in the year 2015 to carry out research and outreach activities in the broad areas of intelligent systems. With continuous support from the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Foundation since its inception the center has managed to attract talents and resources from across the country to work on related fields.

Research, Education & Outreach on intelligent Systems (IS) is certainly a critical area to work on. Hence over the years KCIS has followed a collaborative approach by undertaking joint projects with other academic institutions as well as research labs run by of governments and leading corporates. Events and activities like industry talks, seminars, workshops and Symposiums are regular happenings of KCIS involving more and more audience to work on the fields of IS.

From the year 2020, KCIS has also started rolling out full time research and fellowship programs to attract talents for carrying out dedicated researches on intelligent systems. The prestigious Kohli fellowship program and the research scientist program of KCIS will work on this direction starting from 2020.
